so just to keep things interesting scott arrived for the last day of the bvi boat show. this was another reason for having too much fun. it did not help he showed up the night of the 80’s party. by this point we had made some great new friends and spent the night dancing away to 80s music. somehow the caterers left without kicking everyone out so we found ourselves with the dj still going and a fully stocked self server bar. eventually we found ourselves back on palapa drinking more margaritas while scott skini dipped with darra off the back of palapa.
i finally got everyone home and back to bed in time for the last day of the show. the good news is aimee’s lunches have been getting rave reviews. “mega yacht food and mega yacht service” was one comment. we had a final lunch the last day of the show and then as the guests left the boat we got under way to head to the bvi to check in and then get set up for the usvi show.
we just made it to customs before 5pm and checked in with the nicest customs guy “smily” e seems to be so happy he irritates the other customs guys. after this i got to back palapa through a maze of giant boats into a slip at the back of the marina. we made friends with our neighbors bert and emily on lori b. they look like they will be a bad influence!
we headed over to mulligans for what was billed as the kickoff party but got kicked out becuse we where not part of the charter orginization that was putting on the boat show even though we had paid $900 to be in the show. fortunately this was after we had made a pass at the buffet. not to be detered we returned to palapa for our own party.
