we got an email from seats and jen that they where going to marigot bay today so after a bit of “discussion” on our pans we decided to go join them. it was a great broad reach back with about 20kts of wind on the beam. i put aimee in charge and managed to make myslef sesick working on the computer down below. we got up to 3 meter swells between the islands where we where exposed to the full atlantic. i finally came up to have beer and recover only to have us take one wave into the cockpit which managed to get both of us even huddled inside the dodge.
that was the only bad one and we really enjoyed the 5 hour 30nm sail. we had siets and jen over to palapa for an early happy hour and then decided to do some SUP water sking. after the water skiing event aimee made guac and qusadillas with the avocados we had picked up in dominica. we did a brief happy hour on shore at doolittles as it turned out jen knew dave, the owner, from the last time she was here on mustang. he even offered to have his staff do some laundry for us and gave us free ice, very nice!
