more yoga in esperanza! – 16 nov 2012

so we got up early to watch the sunrise and shoot more aimee yoga photos. with this out of the way we let scott entertain himself while we caught up on our day jobs. scott is prob the best guest ever, very small boat footprint and always seems to mange to get to the dishes before anyone else. we just felt bad we where not able to entertain him better. cheers,...

back to jost! 11 nov 2012

so we managed to get a consensus together to head across to anchor off jost today to meet up with kat and james another ex moorings crew now running a private 55 foot cat. its great to hang out with boats bigger than yours as the whole day was spent on the big cats with us getting thrown scraps of frozen steak and bacon and other goodies left over from charter that was going to be thrown away! thank god for the engle, we always seem to have space to take on these extra goodies. tomorrow we take on ben and diana and head for trellis to drop...

bvi reunion! 10 nov 2012

i woke up at dawn and figured we might as well head across to cane garden bay rather than try to coordinate a rndv with the slappers. aimee made us a great breakfast as we motored across. we pulled into the bay around 8am and had hopped to surprise the crew but alas ben and diana where up and spotted us as we dropped our hook. we wasted no time inviting our selves over for a second bfast. the photo of scott with the plate of rum punches says it all, another epic beach party. aimee had to sit out the first half of the day and work, i called...

scotts back! – 9 nov 2012

so scott finally made it back to culebra to research day charter options. we took him straight to zacos for great tacos and some margaritas. of course he reported that diana and ben where back in the bvi staying on the slappers moorings cat and some other friends had also just arrived on a charter cat. as we chatted over margaritas back on palapa i decided if we left now we could be there at dawn and meet up with them before they had to leave! no sooner had i announced my plan than scott and aimee jumped into motion securing everything and...

back to culebra! – 3 nov 2012

so as often happens the day after an epic party we decided to get out of dodge. we where expecting scott to show up in pr any day now and given it was a weekend (now our only time to move with jobs) we said why not and got the anchor up. we did not have a ton of wind so we mostly motored along and managed to get back to dewy before dark. we had hoped to find our friend don there but alas he was still making his way west from the DR. we also failed to get in touch with scott so not sure what the plan there is either. ...

halloween at the last resort – 2 nov 2012

i must say you could not ask for a better backdrop for a Halloween party than the last resort located on an island in the middle of trelis you either needed to come by dingy or get a complementary water taxi to the island. aimee and jamiee did a pretty good job getting us costumed up with limited resources. what can i say, we partied like rock stars i have never seen seth (and jamiee) tear up a dance floor with such vigor! we did not quite shut the party down but it was close. not sure how much longer we can hang with the slappers without...

back to the grind – 31 oct 2012

unfortunatly or fortunatly the slappers had to go back to work leveing us again alone in north sound with our own day jobs. after 3 days on the computers pretty much none stop we decided to had back to trelis for haloween. you can see even on the trip me hard at work on the laptop and cell phone. we had a nice motor back though the dog islands with basically no wind or swell as you can see from the boom pulled out to give us optimal solar coverage. did i mention the whole purpose of all this working was to pay for a replacement genset so we...
