We woke up this am wondering “where are all the people” there was no one in the mooring field except for a few random boats, the shore looked deserted. we would find out later this was partially because it was “turnover day” with the moorings so everyone was probably back in totolla.
aimee got to work putting tiki on the raft. perfect timing as we expect to finally pick up our dingy chaps in st marteen in a week or so when we get our next weather window. we also started work on the new palapa website which you are on if you are viewing this now. after a day on the compute aimee wanted to do a hike. amazingly i thought this was on board with this as well.
we dingied to shore and did about a 1.5 hour hike up over the bitter end down to briars creek where we had the reception (thanks dad) and back around to the shore to the bitter end. very nice! we finished the evening off with cocktail hour but alas no margaritas as we are out of limes. aimee will ahve to hitchhike into town if we want to get back on margaritas!
cheers, roger
