so we got off the dock around 7 and i managed to snake it back through the other mega yachts and out of the marina with just minimal help from our neighbors pulling our bow around. there are definitly times when i would not mind having one of these noisy things.
i had envisioned the day on the hook organizing my laz and the crew quarters to recover from the boat show but i should have realized that was not tobe when aimee and scott started opening celebratory champagne on the trip over. no sooner had we anchored in great harbor on peter than aimee was launching the sup and scott was rigging the bridal to the dingy.
in the old days this might have resulted in aimee making a topless pass twirling her bikini in the air but now that we are “carter ready” i can report nothing like that occured! after the “exercise” around the anchorage aimee decided to “practice” serving scott and i champagne on the foredeck. it was a bit gay but we got over it. we really need to make another trip back to st martin for more of this stuff before we run out.
scott wanted to take us out for drinks so we headed over to the beach bar at the far end of great bay for a rum punches or two. almost as good as saba but twice as expensive, really have to stick with happy hour.
towards the afternoon we where getting a bit board so decided to head around the corner to little harbor on peter. scott and aimee swam to shore with a line and we did our first med mooring style stop since st lucia. we invited aimee’s friends richie and westly (richie had one the cooking contest at the bvi show) and after a few cocktails we decided to head over to willi t’s on norman.
it was only 8pm by the time we arrived and after a flawless night morning pickup we headed in. aimee made quite the impression when she paddled up on the sup and pulled the board onto the float. there was no shortage of guys waiting to help her. eventually we headed back to palapa but rather than spend the night we got under way to head to spanish town so we could hit the baths first thing in the am. we dropped the anchor at 2am and finally called it a day.
hopefully the next feew days will be sub 4 stop events but we do need to show scott a good time before he heads back!
cheers
