[s] [d] 3/21/2012 [t] palapa fun day [l] il pinel island [a] roger [b] the weather was too rough for the slap dash to bash into even for 4 miles so we decided to kidnap the slappers for another palapa fun event. we left a very dead town after the rib event and headed up to the “kingdom” of tintimarre. this is a perfect island off of st marteen covered with palm trees and white sand. we headed ashore and scoped out a picnic table, no kidding”! while we waited for the girls to prepare lunch we had a few cervecas and where entertained by myriad topless girls sunbathing on the beach, you have to love the french for at least this!
after a great lunch and a bochi ball tournament we headed across the way to isle pinel. this is the home of the king of pinel, tom, who sells serongs. aimee and jaimee went “shopping” while seth george and i enjoyed the 2 for one happy hour cubra libre’s at the bar.
we eventually headed back to palapa for dinner as the kitchen closed when the last ferry left. the bbq turned into quite a party with the photo viewing the next day reminiscent of “hangover”. needless to say we did not return the slappers home that night!
