palapa “rest” day in north sound – 14 Nov 2013

i was finally worn out this am so i/we decided to take it easy today relax, sort off. after bfast we moved palapa over to the fat virgin for lunch. aimee got to play with her camara stick again and take pictures of all of us. the fat virgin was nice but the roti was not as good as nanny cay, i think we are going to have to stick with the burger option here!

after lunch we headed back to pick up a mooring right off the bitter end. i had vowed no exercise today but some how next thing i knew i was being towed behind burts dingy on this floaty tube thing. very fun i think we will need to get one of these things! darra had been talking about how great she was at hoola hooping so she finally got a chance to show off her paddle board hula skills for us.

bert and emily guilted us into taking a couple of hobie cats out. we got two of the baby ones and there was not a ton of wind but we had fun racing each other. burt claimed he had some sort of “batten” problem that caused him to keep getting beaten by us. seth and jamiee picked up a mooring right behind palapa during the hobie race and was nice enough to come out and trow us a few beers.

we ended up at saba again for happy hour but we where still hungry after some conch so decided to take palapa over and pick up another mooring for a late burger at the leverick bay beach bar.

so much for a relaxing day we ended up with another 4 stop day, at least all in north sound!

cheers
roger
