Just when you thought it could not get more fun ….
So we started the day with another amazing aimee egg bfast and ceaser’s. I am getting quite good at the Ceaser if i do say so myself! All part of the hard work getting ready for charter!
Bert and Emily wanted to go for a snorkel/rock climb around the corner at the Caves. I had never done the caves so after a short dingy race over (we won) we checked out the caves. the caves where quite cool even with the large number of people there initially. fortunately it thinned out before the rock climbing event started or we probably would have landed on some tourists.
initially i was happy to be a passive observer by by the end both aimee and i had joined in. quite fun, especially the jump at the end. would be even easier with flips!
after the event we headed back to palapa for a celebratory beer. the plan had originally been to head to st johns for the weekend but aimee had already made plans to have dinner with lori b in north sound on mon so i figured we would just head up there for a relaxing evening.
alas this was not to be as we motored by nany cay don called and guilted us into coming in to fat cow bay next door. i asked aimee if she wanted to go and got the standard “why not” that gets us in so much trouble! of course we ended up at mulligans for more pizza and wings before heading back to palapa late in the evening. but not before we made a stop for drinks in dons cockpit on the hard in the boat yard not quite as fun as in the actual ocean but always great to be on someone else’s boat!
tomorrow we will get our relaxing day in north sound!
cheers
roger
